I'm an Active Duty Recruiter in NC, been here for a little over a year. Currently helping one applicant with his OCS packet and learning a lot about the intricacies of the process. Get at least 3 Letters of recommendation (your coach will be a great one). First board will be a local interview with the recruiting battalion. After you pass that board, your packet will go to the USAREC board. This is the important one if you want to go Active duty. Next USAREC board for your timeline is in December.
